| Two images depict the heart outflow tract of 14-15 day mouse embryos. Cushion formation dynamics are implicated in the phenotype from trasngenic mice created by Drs. Mohamed Azhar and Tom Doetschman. This cover submission shows differences present in the cardiac cushions of wt (left) and ko (right) embryos. While this image was considered for the cover, the ultimate decision was to put it on Developmental Dynamics "art pix" in May 2008. | |
